What is marriage?
Marriage is a socially or ritually recognized union or legal contract between spouses that establishes rights and obligations between them, between them and their children, and between them and their in-laws.
For the purpose of this article we will only be considering monogamous bisexual marriages because this is the bible standard. “Haven’t you read in your Bible that the Creator originally made man and woman for each other, male and female? And because of this, a man leaves father and mother and is firmly bonded to his wife, becoming one flesh—no longer two bodies but one. Because God created this organic union of the two sexes, no one should desecrate his art by cutting them apart.” (Matthew 19:4-6 MSG)
People marry for many reasons, including: legal, social, libidinal, emotional, financial, spiritual, and religious. But whatever reasons one is getting married, there is a need to be prepared because no sane person goes into a marriage with an intention to end it at a predetermined time.
