This is the story of a girl from a broken home, she had the free will to go out. She met this guy at an eatery in Ikeja. This guy was with his two friends,he was dark, handsome and tall. She thought he was someone she knew, but she was wrong, they exchanged numbers and he left.
The next thing, she received a call from the guy asking if she had left the eatery and he asked her if she could visit him at his place. She did not go that day, but she went on a weekend.
He tried to play as a nice host, they talked about business, family etc. The guy took the lady to his room, and the discussion changed to " Let's Have Sex". She resisted and said No, he now said Let's have something close to sex and she eventually agreed.
She left his house feeling very guilty and empty inside her. She never went there again.
Points:
1) She should have left the guy immediately at the eatery when she realised he was not someone she knew.
2) There was no need to exchange numbers
3) She should have spoken to a wise and elderly person about the guy.
4) There was no need to go to his house, enter his room.
Lessons: A girl from a broken may have more liberty to do things or go out.the girl child might feel lonely, may be in desperate need of Love,Acceptanace And Selfworth.
This can be channelled into going to wrong places, meeting the wrong people and getting engaged in the wrong activities.
Therefore, instead of feeling better, you get temporary excitement or pleasure, leaving you with the feeling of being empty. Then overtime your heart gets hardened and you don't send.
Also, sometimes there is really no one you can talk to, your parents are seperated or divorced, everybody is busy with their own activities. You are left with the option of talking to your peers or making a decision.
Despite the fact that you are from a broken home, The Truth Is:
As a girl, you can make the right the decision concerning any issue
You can follow the right friends
You can go to the right places
You can be involved in the right activities
The question is now, how, why, when and where?
