What Are Friends For?

This is an incident that occurred very recently.There are two very close friends, one is engaged, the other is married.

On this fateful day in their room, the lady that was married woke up in the middle of the night, she could not breathe well and she could not sleep.There was a third person in the room that was praying, she gave her a drug to take to relieve her breathing problem and she continued praying.

The lady that is engaged woke up and saw her friend not breathing well.She stood up, went beside her and prayed for her. After a while, she started breathing well and she slept off.

A proverb Says: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.This means that you have to be friendly yourself and you cannot have too many friends.

For you to have a friend that has these characteristics, then you must be a Good friend yourself.

For example, I tell my friends that I should be able to tell them if I have done something wrong, they will correct me and still love me.

I know it is sometimes hard to trust or find good friends, you need good friends.but you have to be a good friend yourself, then you will find those you can call good friends.

Please even if people betray you, keep on Doing good.The reward is enormous.
